I’ve made this website for interested students to find information about my classes, current research and views on life in Japan in general. I hope that students will take an interest in English as a tool for expanding their world view and as a tool for international communication.

Learning English and studying Intercultural Communication offers students a great way to interact successfully with people from other countries in order to form friendships at a grassroots level. I believe face-to-face interaction is the key to promoting mutual understanding and peace in our troubled world today.
